While the humans wished to share the power along with the animals, the latter wanted the entire sway for themselves on the presumption that might is right. And it resulted in a series of conflicts between both. Though the animals were generally inferior to the humans in mental prowess, some of them were equally intelligent to the point of being cunning and outwitting the humans. A war raged where almost all the animal race, as well as a large contingent of humans was lost...
