The Meandering Walking Series Books as evolved over the years not only for walks for locals and /or holidaymakers but also for people that have moved to a different area who now have started using them to get in tune with there new surroundings. The Cotswolds lies in the South of England surrounded by rolling hills and woodlands. It as contrasting views giving you a palate of colour giving you a rich tapestry of life spread over a beautiful countryside, which you can absorb in perfect tranquillity. The Cotswolds is the largest area of outstanding natural beauty in the U.K. This book contains ten walks with step by step easy to follow instructions there are some interesting routes the climb to Broadway Tower, Belas Knap, Sudeley Castle and part of the Cotswold Way in Chipping Campden. There are great views along the way and historical landmarks which give you a nice variation among this collection of walks. This sets out some interesting trails like the climb up Broadway Tower which from the top is amazing giving you a 360-degree panoramic view of a total of 16 counties most anywhere in the U.K. Another of the walks is Lower Slaughter along the Warden Way, this is not only a quaint charming village but it is also used for many film sets like for Midsomer Murders and at the time we where there they were getting ready to film an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma due for release in 2020. Because these walks are in remote places then the car is very often the only form of transport.
