You don't have to give in to every hunger cue, or the desire to binge eat or boredom eat. In fact, intermittent fasting can help most adults break the bad habits of junk food snacking and emotional eating. Many of the benefits of intermittent fasting are natural side effects. When you restrict what you're eating to an eight-hour window, you're going to want to pack as much nutritional value into your meals as possible. That can mean that you are voluntarily choosing more nutrient-dense food options to avoid feeling hungry later. Additionally, you may avoid boredom eating because you know that it's during your scheduled fasting time. Many people realize that out of response to intermittent fasting, they drink more water, make healthier food choices, and generally enjoy their food more. It's almost impossible to argue against the many benefits of intermittent fasting. With so many different methods of fasting available, anyone in good health can implement intermittent fasting into their lifestyle.
