Even if you worship God, you will still experience suffering along with everyone else in this world. This is what makes the Buddhist religion so fascinating because it encourages individual people to change their lives by changing the way they think. They are not asking for you to seek guidance from God or someone else that may or may not be there. You simply have to meditate and find the answers within yourself. Buddhism is a religion that is still stronger than ever. There are over 400 million followers worldwide and the numbers steadily grow as more people look to leave the mental stresses of the modern world for a life of inner peace. If that is the kind of life you are looking for then try becoming a Buddhist. It doesn't matter where you are in the world because you can study the teachings of Buddha from anywhere.
