Hamilton, Acting Associate Director for Information Technology, James D. Lincoln, then Associate Director for A dministration, andS tanley D. Moore, Associate Director for Field Operations. The Director sstaff was assisted byS herry L.C ourtland. Direction of the census enumeration and early processing activities was provided by Vincent P. Barabba, former Director; Daniel B. Levine, former Deputy Director; and George E. Hall, former Associate Director. Responsibility for the overall planning, coordinating, processing, and publication of the 1980 census was in theD ecennial Census Division under the direction of Stanley D. Matchett, Chief, assisted by Rachel F. Brown andR oger O. Lepage, Assistant Division Chiefs. The following Branch Chiefs were responsible for support services: Donald R. Dalzell, H. Ray Dennis, Stephen E. Goldman, Dennis W. Stoudt, andR ichard R. Warren. Responsibility for developing the housing portion of the 1980 census questionnaire content, designing the tabulations, and preparing this report was in the Housing Division under the supervision of Arthur F. Young, Chief; Leonard J. Norry, Assistant Chief; and William A. Downs, Chief, Decennial Planning and Data Services Branch.
